As we get asked all the time about resizing pictures, here is a simple image resizer that is free to download and extremely easy to use.

Many website owners simply upload their pics to their site without realising they may often be too large to display quickly or correctly.
A large file of around 5 mb will take around 45 minutes to display on a viewer's browser if they are still on a "dial-up" connection.
This clever tool will resize your image very easily.

Simply download the file, "run" and it is that simple.
Then just select your image icon and right click it and select option, "resize image".
(you can also select multiple files by holding down the "control key" in windows.)
A dialogue box will pop up and you only need to select the box most suitable.

Most websites pics are best viewed on the 800 px setting and 300 px if you are emailing them.
The pic will be resized in seconds and a copy of the file (resized version) will appear in the same directory.
You will find a 5 mb file will be reduced to around 99kb without any loss in quality for monitor viewing.
